What You Need To Bring
While you should focus on packing light, don’t leave out essentials that will make your trip comfortable. You should pack your things in a duffel bag as opposed to a suitcase or large camping backpack. Other than the obvious clothes & food items, below is a list of items I’d recommend bringing on the trip. (As for food, we will plan this when Derek---oh, “Issac Washington”---posts his preliminary menu on this blog.)
Sunscreen (At least SPF 30)
Seasickness Protection (See Jason’s previous post and this article)
Sunglasses (A must. Polarized if you have them)
Sleeping Bag (blankets, if you don’t have one)
Sleeping pills (priceless when trying to sleep in unfamiliar circumstances)
Pillow
Small flahlight
Knife (Not of the kitchen or steak knife varieties. If you don’t have one, don’t worry about it.)
Swimsuit
White-soled tennis shoes (Only if you have them already. Not a must.)
Hat
Fleece or sweater (in case it gets cold at night)
Towel (only if you want. Not a must)
Toothbrush, etc
Soap
Quality rain gear (rain coat with rain pants. We'll be sailing in any weather---rain or shine)
Mosquito Repellent (we may anchor near a marsh)
Gloves (for pulling lines. Biker style will do. Bring them if you have them but really not necessary to go out and purchase.)
Cash. We're gonna stop on remote islands. Don't depend on credit card.
Cds, MP3 Player

If it's as big as your dick then it can be considered small. That's how you know.
thanks
Do we really need white soled tennis shoes? I don't have any. Do I have to buy them?
No, don't worry about the white-soled shoes if you don't have them. Not a priority.
