What you need to bring.
Below are essentials for the trip. I've left out the obvious things (like a toothbrush or swimsuit, dumb ass) that are assumed. As for food, we will plan this when Derek posts his preliminary menu on this blog. Pack all items in a duffel bag.
WARM clothes, including fleece, long-johns and sweater (it WILL get cold. Bring spare clothes as if it might snow and rain the whole trip). "Prepare for the worst, but expect the best".
Quality rain gear (rain coat with rain pants and boots if you have them. We'll be sailing in any weather---rain or shine. Not kidding).
Sunscreen (At least SPF 30)
Seasickness Protection (See Jason’s post)
Sunglasses
Sleeping Bag (blankets, if you don’t have one)
Sleeping pills (Ok, not essential, but priceless when trying to sleep in unfamiliar circumstances)
Small flashlight
Knife (Not of the kitchen variety -- something fit for the outdoors).
White-soled tennis shoes (If you leave black shoe marks on Bailey's boat's deck, please report to him, not me, asshole).
Brimmed hat
Cash and check. We're gonna stop in remote places. Don't depend on credit card. Also, you'll need to reimburse everyone for food and boat. Bring a blank check -- with money in the bank to back it up.
Don't complain about music if you don't bring your own Cds or MP3 Player

Anybody have a Mr. Coffee? The Segel has that metal percolator contraption, but I think a Mr. Coffee machine would be way way better. Last year I was jonesing for some coffee and all we had was lukewarm coffee water with specks in it. And with the all night sail thing . . .
I think a French Press will be much better and easier. I have no idea WTF that contraption on the Segel is even called, but it was crap, indeed.
french press - hoity toity
I have a coffe pot that I can bring.
"Hill-Billy woman getter"??
Colin - will you bring a gun? If we have a pirate flag again this year, we should at least shoot a pistol.
Muffins and Mortars? What do you think Colin, Southpark anyone????
