BLACKBEARD'S STANDARD
Numbering well over five men, the small contingent of Edward Teach, sailing a 35 foot sloop, wreaked havoc over the middle Chesapeake.
Captain Damon Fodge commanding, the blood red Segel was known for both its fast sailing and fast drinking. Blackbeard's flag was seen on her backstay, sending shivers of fear into the hearts of other mariners.
