- The Tangier Island B & B called me to confirm our reservations. The woman is probably setting us up with the entire living room which has four separate beds (crew) and a private room (my ass). And yes, the living room is private; strangers won't be walking past. The woman I spoke to was extremely nice, and seemed very concerned about making sure we have a hot meal when we arrive. Even if we get in late, she'll have it bagged up for us. How nice. That's country folk, I suppose. Anyway, it's my treat, and anyone who tries to slip me extra cash gets a drubbing from my cutlass and two hours in the brig.
