As you may know, Hans Horrevoets, a helmsman and trimmer onboard ABN AMRO TWO, was killed while sailing across the North Atlantic on May 18th, 2006. Here is his biography.As the Volvo Ocean Race has been such a part of my life since last fall, I hereby dedicate our coming trip to Hans Horrevoets.
As a tribute, we will be playing the 1812 Overture as a requiem this weekend.
